Any process in which three-dimensional objects are created by joining or fusing together solid particles under computer control is called 3D printing. Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry as they are typically produced from a data file called an Additive Manufacturing File. Objects are primarily “printed” layer by layer and between each printing, the solid particles are fused together by heat or light.
MDS has the capability to undertake 3D printing projects using both metals and thermoplastics. Our 3D printing services help you to create customized complex parts faster than traditional manufacturing methods with a high degree of accuracy. Production grade thermoplastics may be used to print tough, durable parts that are highly accurate and stable over time. They are mechanically, chemically and thermally strong and hence are ideal for building durable parts.
We can work off any 3D design made using and CAD tool. Once we receive your design file, we will be able to run a simulation and ensure that there are no technical difficulties in printing the product. Once the simulation is done, we can proceed with printing out the product as per your requirement. Sometimes, to enhance print quality, 3D Printed Parts may require Post Processing. These include options like Chemical Treatment, Support Clearance, Painting etc.
