MRO is one of the fastest growing and most challenging industries. In today’s cost-conscious world, there is a growing trend to refurbish major capital equipment rather than buy a new one. This fast-growing sector is an emerging market due to the scarcity of precious metals and the increasing cost to repair and overhaul these products, previously designated as disposable. MRO includes all items that are necessary for retaining or restoring a piece of equipment or a system, to its optimal condition where it can function normally. These include items which are used in production but may not become part of the end product.
